School For Sale The now unused
former Juniper Green Primary School Annexe in Baberton Avenue is advertised
for sale by the City of Edinburgh Council. According to the Conservation Area
Character Appraisal click here
the building sits within the Conservation Area. The document states “The
character appraisal will be a material consideration when considering
applications for development within the conservation area and applications
for significant new developments should be accompanied by a contextual
analysis that demonstrates how the proposals take account of the essential
character of the area as identified in this document.” Should a developer
seek to purchase the building we will look closely at whether any planning
application takes account of the Character Appraisal requirement. |
